After a day full of activities, adventures and experiences in San Miguel de Allende, it is absolutely normal that the body asks for some fun and music at nightfall. That is why we have created this small list with the nightclubs, bars, discos, pubs and dance clubs where to go and that we personally recommend you since we have gone to verify that the information said here is true, (wink, wink) all to enjoy the nightlife in San Miguel de Allende.
01. Dean Martini's Little House of Blues
If you are a fan or love classic rock music from the 70's-80's (David Bowie, Queen, etc.), we invite you to visit this little gem located in downtown San Miguel de Allende, don't worry about anything because the 2 men behind the bar are very welcoming and can speak English.
Where else could you see and hear good live blues and watch a Warriors game, all in a space smaller than your living room?
You might find it a little strange not to see anything about them on social media, as they don't usually disclose much about the bands that will be there, or promotions or location, but in our experience when we went, there was a 3 man band on a small stage and it was too much fun! The crowd, including us, couldn't stop dancing!

02. Tupinamba Spanish Bar
This place is very nice, with Spanish decor and authentic details. You will immediately feel the comfort. You can feel the family atmosphere among the clients and the good coexistence of the workers. On Thursdays and Fridays you will find live music, including Spanish music, with a flamenco show and gypsy swing jazz. We are sure you will have too much fun dancing and sharing the moment with everyone in the place.
We highly recommend the Spanish potatoes and padron peppers, they taste truly fascinating, not to mention the drinks and mixology options. At the back of the place there is a very nice market, and upstairs a rooftop where they play more lively music to continue enjoying the night dancing until dawn. Without a doubt, one of my favorite places in San Miguel de Allende for its authenticity and warmth.

03. Centanni Ristorante Bar
This small place hidden in the heart of San Miguel, is very well decorated. Definitely if you only go for lunch, ask for the roof garden, take into account the hot weather. Otherwise you will find a very cozy experience, with live salsa music and a family atmosphere and full of dancing, also note that their cocktail menu is very good, they have a variety of drinks, the menu is really vast and among its extensive options, I highly recommend the soup and pizza menu. Definitely one of the best in the area.

04. Casa dragones tasting room
The official Tasting room of Casa Dragones is located inside the complete Doce18 on Rolex street, but please note that travelers must book online before arriving to the site.
I don't know where to start, I just know that this moment was special, intimate and I consider it a LIFE EXPERIENCE that everyone who has the opportunity should take it. For starters you are in the smallest Tequila bar in the world.... (you can check the bucketlist) to follow the bar is impressive architecture and decor that are first class, at this time you know the history of Casa Dragones, you know more about the process of tequila not to mention all the reasons why this tequila is one of the best in the world.
The tasting consists of 2 presentations of Tequila Joven and Blanco accompanied by one of the best bartenders I have had the opportunity to meet "Adrian" which guides you throughout the process and gives you a tasting with presence with charisma and passion for what he does, I do not know at what point I spent 1 hour, the tequila is amazing! no doubt and I recommend this tasting tour especially for people looking for something different from travel, who like to be surprised. Endorsed 100% by foodie professional.

05. Quince Rooftop
Quince's menu is inspired by the chefs' and senior partners' travels to their favorite culinary cities, such as New Orleans, Lima, NYC, CDMX. Familiar music, attentive service and spectacular views from the 6 terraces come together to create a fun and entertaining atmosphere that is the "Quince Experience". After helping Quince become the "#1 terrace restaurant in the world" in 2020, owner and chef Gonzalo Martinez continues to evolve the culinary scope of his menus.
All seating is open-air, including umbrellas, retractable awnings and hard top. Seating has varying views of the beautiful sunsets, mountains, iconic churches and historic downtown SMA.

In the surroundings of the main park there are small and charming corners to have an aperitif with friends or your partner, have a coffee or a cocktail and then go to Jesus and Aldama, Mesones or Hidalgo streets, which is where the best nightlife in San Miguel de Allende is concentrated.
